Carnation Lily Lily Rose


Sinds september vorig jaar volg ik schilderbegeleiding. Even overwogen om toch weer terug naar de kunstacademie te gaan, maar na wat rondneuzen op de kunstacademiesite kwam ik Eva tegen. De site van Eva eens bekeken en jaaa! Dat wil ik ook leren. Dus op naar Eva. Eva schildert zoals 'de oude meesters' ook schilderden. Met olieverf en met een onderschildering en...en...en.....
Nou ja prachtig dus vind ik!
De werkwijze van Eva is dat je een voorbeeld neemt en dat na gaat schilderen. Ik koos voor het schilderij Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose van John Singer Sargent. Het schilderij hangt in de Londonse Tate gallery en afgelopen november heb ik het schilderij in het echt gezien. WOWWW!!! Ik was erg onder de indruk! 
 

 Since September last year I have painting guidance by Eva. Eva is painting the way the 'old masters' painted their paintings and I do love that! I was doubting by going back to the academy of arts, but browsing the site of the academy I came across Eva and I do love the way she's painting. 
The way Eva is guiding you is that you chose a picture and paint it as the 'old masters' did. With a painting underneath and oil paint and a totally different way of painting than I'm used to by using acrylic paint. 
I chose the painting of Carnation, Lily, Lily Rose painted by John Singer Sargent. This painting is owned by the National Tate Gallery in London. Last November, lucky me was in London and, of course, visited the Tate and had a look at this lovely painting! WOWWW!!!!
I was so impressed!!!


Ik heb er voor gekozen om beide meisjes apart te schilderen. Bovenstaand meiske schilder ik bij Eva op les en het meiske onder schilder ik thuis.  Ik vind het erg grappig dat je het schilderij op gaat zetten in 1 kleur, met een beetje donker en een beetje wit erbij en dat de tekening er dan al zo in zit, het is alsof de lampionnen al een beetje licht geven.........zo grapppig. Volgende week gaan we verder met de kleuren. 


I have choosen to make two paintings, each girl seperate. The uppermost of the two I have painted during class with Eva and the lower one I have painted at home. I think it is so funny to paint the underneath painting in one colour. You already can see the light in the lantarns, although it is all just one colour, with a little bit of white in it.

    Ohhh wat vind ik dit toch knap.
    Ik kan wel schilderen maar dan vloeren, deuren, kasten, tafels, stoelen....
    Ben benieuwd hoe het er na volgende week uit ziet.
